Posterior dislocation in a voluntary subluxator: A case report

Article Abstract:

A case report describes a patient who presented with a rare combination of voluntary posterior shoulder instability combined with superimposed traumatic posterior shoulder instability. The case illustrates the protean nature of posterior shoulder instability and documents the importance of recognizing that the pathologic lesions and their treatment vary according to the type of shoulder instability.

Peroneal tendon subluxation in athletes: new exam technique, case reports, and review

Article Abstract:

A new technique for examining the athlete with peroneal tendon subluxation or dislocation is presented. The patient lies face down with the knee bent, extending the lower leg upward at a 90 degree angle. Presentation and reconstructive surgery in three cases highlight differential anatomy, mechanism of injury, classification, and diagnosis.
