Recover your assets

Article Abstract:

Good eating habits will help athletes and sports enthusiasts to help their bodies recover whatever nutrients have been lost during strenuous workouts. A new class of sports or isotonic beverages has been developed by scientists and learning how and when to use them will help athletes re-energize faster and physically prepare for the next workout. Sports drinks are generally classified as either rehydrators or recovery drinks. Rehydrators are good when taken before, during and immediately after exercise. Recovery drinks ought to be taken within an hour after exercise.

The creatine scoop

Article Abstract:

Studies show that creatine, an amino acid which is a source of energy for muscles while doing exercise, increases physical strength and improves the performance of athletes who are involved in sports that require brief but lots of energy. Evidences show that this energy supplement is not effective for marathon runners or distance swimmers who work for hours. Moreover, female athletes and teenagers do not benefit from this energy supplement.
