Hot-pack warming in 4- and 8-pack hydrocollator units

Article Abstract:

The time needed to heat hot packs to water temperature in 4- and 8-pack hydrocollar units is determined. It is concluded that rewarming was quicker than commonly believed (20-15-min) and might be a function of the numbers of packs being simultaneously warmed.
