Reliability and validity of questions on the youth media campaign longitudinal survey

Article Abstract:

The reliability and validity of the several physical activity questions raised in the Youth Media Campaign Longitudinal Survey (YMCLS), a national survey of 9- to 13-year old youth, are evaluated. The high reliability coefficient contained for the estimates of organized activity proves that the YMCLS has high reliability and validity for measuring the habitual physical activity in the young generation studied.
