Denumerable-armed bandits

Article Abstract:

A study was done to analyze classification of denumerable-armed bandit problems given independent arms and geometric discounting over infinite horizons. The arms present rewards based on a finite number of distributions or 'types,' where each type varies across arms. Results indicate that optimal arm selection with strict positive probability remains optimal forever. Theories of job hunting and matching provide these results' implications.
