Rescue at sea

Article Abstract:

In June 2003, Brian, and his crew were on passage from Florida via the Azores to Portugal. Two days and nights after Brian's symptoms began, they were still nearly a week's sailing from Horta, in the Azores, who was in moderate pain and had blood in his urine. The dangerously ill Brian was to be evacuated at sea, but help from a Greek tanker, a U.S. Navy supply ship, and a helicopter that came to his aid saved him.
