A number of motorcycle parts suppliers are offering products made from titanium, such as fasteners, axles, pivots and bracketry for superbikes. Conrods and exhaust pipes made from the lightweight yet strong material are also available. Its price, however, remains high.

Track safety to the forefront

Article Abstract:

There is a need to focus on the safety of race tracks used for motorcycle racing. In the US, most tracks used for racing motorcycles were designed after tracks used for racing cars. Motorcycle and race cars have different safety requirements in the racetrack.
