Self-efficacy and other-efficacy in dyadic performance: Riding as one in equestrian eventing

Article Abstract:

Self-efficacy and other-efficacy are theorized to be conceptually distinct constructs, and when individuals have high levels of other-efficacy this might compensate for inefficacy regarding one's own performance abilities. The result of a study reveals that other-efficacy might also be an important predictor of behavioral enactment within performing dyads.
