A golfer faced with a sand shot should concentrate on the basics, relax the arms and imagine hitting through a spot two inches behind the ball. The feet should be wriggled rather than dug into the sand.

Skip it through the sand

Article Abstract:

A golf ball that is in front of a greenside bunker can be chipped to skip through the sand and onto the green. The ball should be hit so that it loses momentum as it reaches the green.
