The European perspective: new dimensions in pulmonary research

Article Abstract:

The relationship between sports, exercise, and asthma symptoms is being increasingly investigated. Elite athletes have been discovered to have minor degrees of exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB), and several treatments are being explored. Nasal dilators are some of the most recent aids in treating EIB, which is usually induced by temperature and humidity. Some aspects of training programs can help people with chronic disease.
