The amazing monotip: the unusual combination of sinking tip and head may be the most versatile fly line you'll ever fish

Article Abstract:

Saltwater fly anglers can benefit enormously from the use of a monotip line, which combines floating and sinking lines. Using a monotip line, an angler does not need weighted flies and can use shorter leaders. Instructions are given on rigging a monotip line.
