Bob Seals and Jeff Lindsay were among the first practitioners of mountain biking. Bob Seals produced the Retrotec bike which is designed in a retro style using high-tech materials. Jeff Lindsay also produced a hand-made mountain bike that was featured in a trade show in 1981.
