The real calcium problem

Article Abstract:

Calcium can prevent bone disease and also promote cardiovascular health. Foods containing calcium-binders such as oxalic acid in spinach, should be balanced with other calcium sources such as sardines, collard greens and milk. Vitamin D and exercise are essential for proper calcium metabolism.

Many people are becoming concerned about the possible pollution of their water supply and are exploring ways to obtain cleaner water. The use, cost, advantages and disadvantages of faucet filters, pour-through filters, distillation, and reverse osmosis equipment are presented.
