A ski excursion of a Connecticut family of five during one of their many trips to Okemo, VT, is presented. The Salner family enjoy their ski outings because it gives them an activity that they can all do together. Their ski outings typically have more to do with helping to preserve family values.

Sunglasses with a face-conforming 'sweep' shape are the latest rage. They look terrific and are also highly functional. They are light-weight, block most glare and stay on the face during most falls. Oakely and Arnet pioneered the style, but most brands now carry the 'sweep' style.
