The 400cc four-stroke motorcycle class has received three new additions from KTM, Honda and Yamaha. The XR400's main attraction is its riding comfort and durability. The 400 SXC offers an arrestor/muffler that complies with California laws while the WR400F has improved suspension settings.

Five 250cc motocross motorcycles were compared with respect to price, weight, power output, top-gear roll-ons and acceleration. The Suzuki RM250 was judged to be number one compared to the Honda CR250R, Kawasaki KX250, KTM 250SX and Yamaha YZ250.
