Water works: whether you're recovering from an injury or looking to perk up your fitness routine, a pool workout could be the answer

Article Abstract:

Water is the ideal environment for exercise for athletes in a variety of circumstances. Tennis players recovering from an injury or weary after a long match can realize tremendous physiological benefits by practicing range-of-motion exercises in a pool. Water offers much greater resistance, so it allows athletes to practice strenuous workouts without joint damage caused by high impact exercises.
