When a friend dies: families have cultural rituals for grieving, but who do you turn to when you're faced with the loss of a close friend?

Article Abstract:

Grief is an emotion that needs more social support, especially when the grief is caused by the death of a friend. Grief causes a wide range of emotions, and ways to deal with the death of a friend are different than with the death of a family member.
