Issues are presented concerning the diesel engine technological developments which were considered at the 23rd CIMAC World Congress held in Hamburg, Germany, in 2001. Developments in fuel injection technology are discussed.

Aker Kvaerner restructured: Succesful operations of subsidiary Aker Ostsee

The Board of Management of Aker Kvaerner ASA approved the plans for a reorganisation of the group into two industrial focused groups and one holding company. The Kvaerner ASA has become the principle shareholder of a new industrial groups Aker Kvaernel and Aker Yard and would continue to be listed on Oslo stock exchange.
