Artistic sisters for Trasmed: two sisters from two yards have spruced up and sped up Trasmed's Balearic service

Article Abstract:

Spanish shipping firm Trasmediterranea is operating two new 23 knot ships, Sorolla and Fortuny. Both ships, which replace the smaller Kangaroo-class ferries, can carry 1,000 passengers and have a roro capacity of 1,000 lane mt. Both are powered by two pairs of medium speed Wartsila 8L46A four-stroke diesel engines.

Norwegians order frozen food carrier duo

Multi Maritime has built two cargo ships for Trondheim and Sortland that will be used to supply fresh sea food to northern Europe. The technical aspects of these ships are explained.
