Safety and health educational needs of agricultural education and industry professionals

Article Abstract:

A survey on the safety and health education needs of agricultural professionals confirms the high incidence of farm injuries throughout the US. Farm experts resent official restrictions which may alleviate safety risks and health hazards on farms and ranches. However, the increase in farm injuries calls for urgent remedial measures such as effective control of the farm environment through high technology and institution of instructional processes to effect behavioural transformation in farm workers.
