Singapore stops gambling cruises

Article Abstract:

The High Court at Singapore ruled in favor of the country's port authority in refusing berth to cruise ships operating as floating casinos. The decision was a result of a court battle between Lines International and Singapore's port and tourism authorities. In its decision, the High Court cleared that the port's administrative power was not only limited on the physical use of the port.
