The effects of the checkpoints program on parent-imposed driving limits and crash outcomes among Connecticut novice teen drivers at 6-months post-licensure

A study analyzing the effect of the Checkpoints Program, under which parents limit novice teen driving through six months post-licensure, is presented. The study has been done on Connecticut teens.

An in-depth look at parent-imposed driving rule: Their strengths and weaknesses

Article Abstract:

The content, rigidity, delivery and consequences of 143 driving rules were assessed. Results indicated that teen driving rules were not clearly deposed.
