Thinking the unthinkable

Article Abstract:

With the possibility of oil prices reaching a peak one day, or no longer available, the motor industry is now putting much of its thinking into developing technologies that will provide means of generating and or storing propulsion energy without recourse to oil, the diesel engine or any other such system. But much of this thinking is provisional, either it does not exists in practical form or is merely theoretical. Therefore it is of vital importance that planners and designers of the motor industry take a serious and hard look for developing technologies that address the future issues as well as seem practical.
