Ex-competition swimmer Steven Shaw and Alexander Technique expert Gillian Jordan have developed a two-year course which will give instruction on water activities and the teaching of swimming. The diploma course equals two-thirds of an undergraduate degree course, and will have six units which will be taught at weekends. The units will include body awareness, body functioning, and special aspects, including underwater photography and pregnancy, as well as the teaching of swimming techniques.
