A perfect day?

Article Abstract:

The UK's BBC television station has opened a visitor site to offer an insight into the workings of the station, as well as providing it in an entertaining format. The BBC Experience is a public relations exercise for the governors, which means visitors are not shown the most popular television characters, only the shows which are felt to have major importance to the history of the BBC. The exhibition is funded by 5.5 million pounds sterling and located at the BBC headquarters of Broadcasting House in London.

Fitting creations

Article Abstract:

Many health and fitness operators are now starting to realise that good design features can considerably improve a club's commercial success. They are focusing more on issues such as colour, lighting and layout, having accepted the need to fulfill customer expectations. It has also been found that design can have an impact on staff behaviour, which can in turn influence membership decisions.
