Article Abstract:

Water and energy are two resources that are most used in hotels and savings in these areas ensures a healthy increase in profits for any hotel but very little conservation planning is involved in the initial stages. The International Hotels Environment Initiative is a voluntary agency that helps hotel groups devise ways to conserve scare resources and officials feel that a eco-friendly hotel is commercially viable even it is capital intense.
