For this purpose, the Hotel Catering and Institutional Management Association (HCIMA) is conducting seminars on promoting best management practices and education for businesses.

Small and Medium sized businesses in England and Wales have been given opportunity to obtain interest free loans to purchase equipments with more energy efficient versions. The increase in energy prices for businesses between 15 to 40 % and its effective usage in the hospitality industry are discussed.
