Newspapers for working people

Article Abstract:

The newspaper trade used to be full of newspapermen who were mostly children of working-class Americans who initially engaged in the craft. Newspapers in the 1990s, however, project more professionalism since more educated reporters are being hired. Ethical standards also became more rigid. The craft became a career for many. People with no degrees are having a hard time entering the profession. New immigrants such as Latinos and blacks who are closer to working people because their parents are also workers deserve to be given a chance to engage in the craft like their white counterparts.

Fresh coat of paint

Article Abstract:

The UK fitness club market is growing and going more upmarket, and operators will need to adapt to survive. Clubs should decide on a precise strategy, determining where the club fits into the market, what it can offer and what charges it can make. Designers can assist operators with this exercise, planning space to its best advantage. The maximum possible amount should be invested in changing rooms, which are a club's major area. Among renovated clubs is the Metropolitan Club, Twickenham, UK, which has changed its image.
