HFT launches hospitality qualification

Article Abstract:

The UK Hospitality Training Foundation (HTF) has launched an initiative to develop a higher level of skilled hospitality trainees by working in partnership with industry. The initiative may also be used as part of the governments Welfare to Work campaign. Employers take on a trainee who is then trained both on-site and at an educational establishment, ensuring the employer passes on the skills which they feel are equally important. The educational side deals with hygiene, communication and literacy skills.
