Tarnishing the image

Article Abstract:

Malaysian businessmen display an immaturity which should be addressed if the country wishes to achieve its ambitions of becoming a fully developed nation. Entrepreneurs venturing into the export market exhibit a tarnished image to the world because they have thrived on conditions in the domestic market which support progress on the basis of good contacts rather than genuine innovation. They expect the same conditions in the international market, but know that, if they fail, they can rely on the help of a government keen to support its businessmen.
