Taking to the floor

Article Abstract:

Eating establishments need to choose floor coverings wisely, taking into account style, cost and durability. Restaurant re-fits do not often include re-laying the floor, therefore making the best choice first time around will pay dividends in the long run. Choosing unusual materials for flooring offers designers the chance to create schemes that are long-lasting whilst cost effective. Atmosphere can suffer if flooring is too hard and noisy, therefore carpeting may be an alternative. Cleaning and maintenance needs to be kept to the minimum and modern floor coverings allow this.

There has been growth in inland amusement facilities, and major stand alone facilites benefit from being sited in areas of extremely high traffic flow.
