Soft focus

Article Abstract:

Computer-generated imagery is a growing sector of the film industry, with growing demand for new titles and software. Simulation companies are increasingly focusing on software, with ride film libraries becoming larger and more diverse. The latest passive ride film is being produced by Thomson Entertainment, which has commissioned a new, as yet unrevealed, computer-generated imagery concept from The Electric Film Factory. Thomson is also working with GreyStone Technology to make a real-time 3D game. It is expected that software will continue to drive the simulation industry.

Roll cameras. (software development)

Article Abstract:

The simulation business relies on both the right hardware and the right software to attract the paying customer. Suppliers need to determine which motion simulators work well for an audience in the long term and not rely on novelties. Ride films are currently in the experimental stage using computer generated imagery (CGI) combined with special effects and motion programming.
