Is six billion a reason to celebrate?

Scientists engaged in basic research need to ensure that the results can be used by people in developing countries. Of the $56 billion spent on medical research each year, 90% is spent on diseases that only affect 10% of the population. On October 12, 1999, the human population reached 6 billion people.

Every man should learn a task related to home or automobile repair at least once a year in order to become competent in those areas. Men are naturally inclined to believe they have an innate talent for those types of tasks but are often mistaken.
