The impact of Iraq war, SARS, BSE and the Avian Flu was such that it tightened the security in U.S. and affected the region of Niagara which depends to a great extent on the tourism industry. The government of Ontario is trying to improve the tourism business in the region with the help of advertisements in the popular magazines of U.S.
