Sweet dreams are made of this?

Article Abstract:

There has been a clear trend towards themed hotels in the UK recently. These can produce high revenues, but profit levels can often be low, mainly because such accommodation does not appeal to business travellers and midweek room occupancy levels can therefore be unusually low. However, it is likely that the development of the themed hotel sector will continue, as such outlets are a powerful marketing tool. A key future development may be accommodation where guests can select their own theme and control videowalls around the bedroom.
