Article Abstract:

Temporary seating suppliers in Britain are required to adhere to strict safety standards and refer to the Institute of Structural Engineers' publication, Temporary Demountable Structures, Guidance on Procurement, Design and Use for Guidance. Seating designs vary in complexity and cost. Standalone seats are quick to erect and dismantle, whilst others, such as A-frame tiered seating, require construction at the site. Over one million seats are provided to British event organisers each year.
