Vermin alert in Vancouver

Article Abstract:

The restaurant industry of Vancouver, British Columbia, might be facing a problem with the reported increase in the rat population in the port city. The outbreak is said to be the result of inadequate pest control initiatives at the CP Rail and the Vancouver Port Authority. B.C. Restaurant and Foodservices Assn Vice-Chmn Geoffrey Howes, however, denied that the industry is worried about the increase in the rat population since most of its members know how to rat-proof their establishments.
