Virginia Bottomley

Article Abstract:

Most people do not take enough exercise any more, according to secretary of state for health Virginia Bottomley. The government is responding by seeking ways of making exercise easier and more attractive and by ensuring that health information is available from a wide range of sources. She believes that having different bodies responsible for promoting health and fitness does not cause any problems, and she welcomes the many initiatives which are now being set up.
