A cheating scandal involving Cherokee School has scandalized the affluent neighborhood of Lake Forest, IL. After public hearings, it was determined that Principal Linda Chase had encouraged teachers to raise students' scores on Stanford Achievement Tests. Chase was subsequently demoted to teacher.
