ValuJet is expanding its operations to Boston, MA, and reducing the advance purchase requirement for its flights between Midway airport, Illinois, and Dulles airport, Washington, D.C. Southwest fare and route changes are also listed. Service by Carnival and fare changes of USAir are given.

Club pushes empty seats with short-trip deals

Article Abstract:

Several airlines offer reduced fares to specific destinations for travelers who join their travel clubs. The clubs offer the destinations as weekend getaways, and they are not usually the most popular locations to visit. Travel club restrictions are described.

Small airlines, big impact

Article Abstract:

Fares have been declining for more and more routes, because of the low-fare competition of small airlines and its impact on the entire industry. The fares, routes, and services of 13 low-fare airlines with domestic and international flights are outlined.

this article is very interesting on how the small airline can make more profitable. the cost competativeness is the most advantages for any small airline
