Details of Gulf Opportunity Zone Bond Scheme under Gulf Opportunity Zone Act of 2005 (GO Zone Act), which is a part of the federal assistance made available to support the rebuilding of hurricane affected regional economies in Gulf Coast, are presented. The scheme allows private business owners to borrow capital at a tax-exempt rate.
