Food for thought: Michael Mulqueen: Executive director, Greater Chicago Food Depository

Article Abstract:

Michael Mulqueen, the executive director of Greater Chicago Food Depository is responsible for converting the food depository into a major corporation having a $10-million annual operating budget and shifting it into new $30-million facilities on the Southwest Side. He wants to concentrate on fighting the root cause of hunger and has launched Chicago's Community Kitchens, a culinary school that prepares unemployed Chicagoans for a career in food service industry.
