Frequent-flier programs: how they measure up

Article Abstract:

The frequent-flier programs run by 10 US and 2 Canadian airlines are evaluated according to eight criteria. Passengers should choose the plan that most closely fits their usage pattern. Air travelers who fly more than 25,000 miles per year should try for very-frequent-flier status.
