Frequent-flier programs: the pick of the pack

Frequent-flyer programs offered by airlines offer travelers an opportunity to earn free trips and other benefits. The many programs, however, have different ways of calculating mileage and different levels that must be met to obtain the benefits. Numerous airline programs are analyzed.

Very frequent flyer programs offered by airlines are constructed to attract people who travel often. The perks such programs offer include free upgrades, mileage bonuses, and many conveniences not usually available. A chart helps people determine which program best fits their needs.

Squeezing the most value from frequent-flier miles

Article Abstract:

Frequent flier programs offered by airlines and businesses as a way to attract customers should be evaluated for their overall value. An equivalency value of two cents per mile earned is considered good, but the minimum return should be one cent per mile.
