Headhunters: new twist on old timeshare scam

Article Abstract:

Some timeshare operators and telemarketers are working together to sell travel packages and timeshares in unscrupulous ways. They send certificates for free vacations that can end up costing more than $1,000 and require people to attend a timeshare presentation. Five companies are under investigation for misleading consumers about winning prizes or contests. Consumers should beware of deceptive advertising of the timeshares.
