An appreciation of seven recently erected buildings around the world which either offer services for tourists or which attract tourists. Buildings examined are the Modern Art Museum in Forth Worth, Texas; the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington; Bergisel Ski Jump in Innsbruck, Austria; the Falkirk Wheel in Falkirk, Scotland; the Shizuoka Prefectural Fuji Swimming Pool in Fuji City, Japan; the Bed Supperclub in Bangkok, Thailand; and the Kingdom Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Seven architectural splendors across the world are overviewed. The marvels include the monumental stainless steel jelly bean as well as the stainless steel footbridge in Millennium Park, Chicago; the skyscraper 30 St Mary Axe, in London; Japan's Matsumoto Performing Arts Center; Seattle Public Library; Tokyo's glowing glass box Dior Omotesando; and the Langden Foundation in Germany.
