Voyageurs National Park

Article Abstract:

Voyageurs is a 40-mile-long national park located at the Minnesota and Ontario border. The park was established in 1975 and is made up of wet meadows, lakes, bogs and ponds. A wide variety of plants and animals inhabit the park, including the endangered timber wolves.

Guadalupe Mountains National Park

Article Abstract:

The park is located 110 miles east of El Paso, TX, and is open year-round with no entrance fees. Three eco-systems can be experienced: the forests, the canyons and the deserts. Curators say the few allowed changes have helped protect wildlife and natural elements.
