Wilderness by air

Article Abstract:

Heli-hiking is the latest spin on adventure travel. It involves transporting tour groups to remote locations to allow travelers to experience the grandeur of the unspoiled wilderness. A tour package to the Adamants' Lodge in the Selkirk mountains of British Columbia, Canada, is described.
