White grouse: wing-shooting on the edge

Article Abstract:

A bird hunter relates the thrill of white grouse wing-shooting in Alaska. His passion for the sport started when he was only seven years old and shot his first ptarmigan. Ptarmigans are found throughout Alaska and change their natural brown feathers into snow-white plumage during the winter.
