A birder's mecca: one of South Africa's hottest spots

Article Abstract:

South Africa's Ndumo Game Reserve is described as the watery wonderland of South Africa. It is argued that the Ndumo is a nature lover's paradise, and that it is always compared with the Botswana's better-known Okavango Delta.

Baboon reunion

The author describes his having studied baboons living on the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa for over 25 years. Increasing baboon populations, diet, and tourist feeding baboons are discussed.
